Has anyone used the Opera browser?

It seems like its in its infancy. Pretty simple. Was this started outside the US?

Has anyone used the Opera browser?ie

Yes it was...

Opera started out as a research project in Norway's largest telecom company, Telenor, in 1994, and branched out into an independent development company named Opera Software ASA in 1995.

cmiiw..

Has anyone used the Opera browser?microsoft internet explorer

ya its work just try it
It's been around for a few years now but just hasn't taken off the same way Firefox did.

I used it for a while .... it's pretty fast but basic.

Firefox is much better
It has been around for years.

I prefer Firefox.
Don't know what version of opera you have ?

Bit basic? Far from it

The GUI may look basic but you can change this as much as you like - faster than IE and firefox

Compares well with Firefox

Tabbed browsing - Voice commands - Excellant web mail client - Torrent download manager - Widgets - preview tab - excellant sypware and anti phishing tools - excellant pop up blocker - Mouse short cut movements - trash can (this feature cann't live without) - extremley fast

The new IE is trying to catch up - still falls short

The new firefox from motzilla is also trying to catch up - but apparently there are many flaws in their new update (still like firefox though)
I use it and Firefox all the time. Only about 0.5% of the people use Opera, this keeps you well below the radar of hackers and other bad guys.
It has been told that Opera has better CSS support than Firefox, but then again I have also heard of people saying many sites do not display correctly in Opera. Rather use Firefox.
